KHUZDAR: Six people, including two brothers, were killed in separate road incidents in Kalat and Mastung areas on Monday.

According to police, four people were killed when a speeding car collided with a heavy trailer coming from the opposite direction. The victims were traveling towards Karachi, and when they reached the Sangdas area of Kalat, their vehicle was hit by the trailer, resulting in the death of all four passengers.

“The driver of the car lost control, leading to this tragic incident,” police officials said, adding that the bodies were taken to the district hospital in Kalat.

The deceased were identified as Sardar Ahmed, Ghulam Farooq, Abdul Lateef and Shafiqur Rehman. After completing medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the families.

The victims were from Quetta and other areas of the province.

In a separate incident, two brothers were killed when their Karachi-bound car slipped into a roadside ditch due to slippery roads after rainfall in the area.

Their bodies were also taken to the Mastung District Hospital. The victims were identified as Syed Habibullah and Syed Mohibullah, both from Pishin.
