PBS KIDS to premiere Weather Hunters on July 7, 2025

Weather Hunters, an animated STEM series created by Al Roker, will debut on PBS KIDS on July 7, 2025. The show follows eight-year-old weather detective Lily Hunter as she explores Earth science and meteorology with her family.

The series will air in both English and Spanish and feature interactive content, including a game where kids can create weather reports. Al Roker stars as Lily’s dad, Al Hunter, with additional voices from Holly Robinson Peete, Sheryl Lee Ralph and others.

Marvel Studios confirms cast for Marvel Zombies

Marvel Studios has announced the return of nine beloved MCU actors for the upcoming animated series Marvel Zombies, set to premiere on Disney+ on October 3, 2025.

The confirmed cast includes Awkwafina (Katy), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), Hailee Steinfeld (Kate Bishop), Dominique Thorne (Ironheart) and Iman Vellani (Ms Marvel).

The series will explore a darker side of the MCU, featuring intense battles and new alliances in a world overrun by zombies. Fans can look forward to seeing these iconic characters face off against undead versions of their peers in this highly anticipated show.

Lucy Liu open to Charlie’s Angels reunion

Lucy Liu said it would be “so much fun” to reunite with Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz for another Charlie’s Angels film during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Reflecting on the 25 years since the 2000 film’s release, Liu expressed enthusiasm for a potential reunion, saying, “Why not? Just get us back together and do some action!”

Cameron Diaz recently returned to acting in Netflix’s Back in Action, her first film in over a decade, while Liu stars in the upcoming horror film Presence, directed by Steven Soderbergh.
