QUETTA: Former Balochistan chief minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has called on the government to conduct an assessment of the performance of all provincial government departments, as one year has passed since the formation of the coalition government.

“Despite the passage of one year of the coalition government, neither the performance of the departments has been assessed nor has the prevailing law and order situation been discussed in the assembly,” he said on Tuesday.

Dr Baloch emphasised the need for measures that benefit the public and stressed the importance of introducing reforms in sectors such as health and education within the assembly.

Dr Malik Baloch also raised these issues during the assembly session, and in response, Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti agreed to hold discussions on health and education within the assembly.
