MILAN: Lazio climbed back into the Serie A top four on Monday above Juventus with a 2-1 victory at Cagliari sealed by Taty Castellanos’ second-half goal.

The capital club bounced back from last weekend’s home loss to Fiorentina to move two points above fifth-placed Juve.

Fiorentina are one further point behind, with Bologna five points adrift of Lazio in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Mattia Zaccagni put Lazio ahead four minutes before half-time after Boulaye Dia earlier had a goal ruled out by VAR for handball.

Roberto Piccoli headed in from a corner to level for Cagliari early in the second half, but Taty Castellanos secured a deserved win for the visitors.

Napoli lead champions Inter Milan, who have a game in hand, by three points at the top of the table after the two title rivals were held to draws by Roma and AC Milan respectively on Sunday.
