The meeting was held at the residence of Gul Afzal Khan in Haji Lawang area.

The speakers said that non-violence narrative of Bacha Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan made ANP different from other parties.

They asked the party’s local chapter activists to launch a campaign to create awareness among the people about the non- violence philosophy.

The speakers lashed out at the provincial government and the district administration for not allowing permission to the party local chapter to arrange its planned public gathering to mark the death anniversaries of Bacha Khan and Abdul Wali Khan.

They said the party’s central president Aimal Wali Khan and other provincial leaders were also to attend the gathering, but they were disappointed at the district administration’s refusal.
