ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the National Assembly session on Monday evening.
An official notification issued on late Friday night stated, “In exercise of the power conferred by clause 1 of Article 54 of the Constitution of Pakistan, the President has been pleased to summon the National Assembly to meet in the Parliament House on Monday, Jan 13, at 5pm.”
