MUZAFFARGARH: The district administration of Layyah will provide free transport to citizens to watch the four-day Thal Jeep rally and Mela (festival) which commence on Thursday (today).

Police have been deployed in Layyah, Kot Addu and Muzaffargarh districts.

Apart from jeep rally, a music night in Chobara tehsil is also part of the festival.

Singer Arif Lohar along with his three sons will perform in the event. Each district will hold musical night in different dates.

For the Jeep rally, 195 kilometers long track is ready which passes through three districts.

According to TDCP schedule, a motorcycle race will be held on Nov 10.

More than 100 male and female drivers will participate in the 9th Thal Jeep Rally.

Muzaffargarh will be the starting and finish point. Chobara is the center point.

Vehicle registration, tagging and technical inspection will be done at Changa Manga on Thursday. Qualified competitions will be held on Nov 8, stock category competitions will be held on Nov 9 and 10.

Competitions for modified vehicles and women’s category will be held on 10th.

A prize distribution ceremony will be held at Faisal Stadium.
