French President Emmanuel Macron had a “very good discussion” with Donald Trump about the world’s major crises during a 25-minute phone call, Macron’s office said according to AP.

Macron expressed his views on the “importance” for the US to reckon with the European Union and both leaders had talks on Ukraine and the Middle East, Macron’s office said.

The French President said he was making himself available to continue to work with Trump on these issues and make efforts towards peace and stability, according to his office.
