The FBI has warned of three fake messages purporting to be from the bureau that “promote false narratives surrounding the election,” including one video about malfunctioning voting machines, CNN reports.

“Today the FBI was made aware of three instances of its name and insignia being misused to promote false narratives surrounding the election,” the bureau said in a statement, calling the videos “the latest in a series of fabricated videos and statements falsely attributed to the FBI designed to mislead the American public.”

The bureau did not say who was behind the fake messages, or where they were circulated.
