CHITRAL: Mehtar of Chitral and MPA Fatehul Mulk Ali Nasir inaugurated the Rescue 1122 service in Drosh tehsil of Lower Chitral here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Rescue 1122 was one of the quickest emergency services which had been modernised by the PTI government.

He said that the service had special importance for Chitral which was disaster-prone area and the rescue service would greatly benefit the local people.

The MPA said that the service of Rescue 1122 was required to be extended to the distant valleys of Madaklasht, Arkari, Golen, Phasti and Garam Chashma so that rescue operations could be initiated in case of any natural calamity .

DC Lower Chitral Mohsin Iqbal, Tehsil Council Chairman Drosh Syed Farid Jan and others attended the function.
