The Palestinian Ministry of Health has said its teams will continue working with UN agencies to administer polio vaccines to children under the age of 10 in central Gaza today, Al Jazeera reports.

The campaign in central Gaza will continue until Wednesday evening, the ministry said.

Children in southern Gaza will get their doses starting on Thursday and those in northern Gaza from next Monday onwards, it added.

According to Al Jazeera, so far, some 158,992 children in central Gaza have received their doses. Health workers are aiming to reach some 640,000 children across the enclave over the next week.
