DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Four abducted security guards of a bank’s cash van and three Frontier Constabulary personnel were recovered here on Monday thanks to the efforts of Kulachi Amn Jirga.

Three FC soldiers were kidnapped on Aug 21 from Kot Azam area of Tank district, and four bank security guards were picked on July 9 in Dera Ismail Khan.

Their release was secured by the peace committee.

It should be noted that a senior officer of the Pakistan Army, along with his two brothers and a nephew was also kidnapped a few days ago.

The Kulachi Amn Jirga also helped secure their unconditional release from their abductors the other day.

The family of the bank security guards held a demonstration in front of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s residence in Dera the other day, seeking safe and early recovery of their dear ones.

Meanwhile, two persons died when a car and another vehicle collided on the CPEC Motorway in the limits of Kirri Khaisur police station here on Monday.

A police official said that as a result of the collision, fire engulfed the car, burning two inmates inside.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately confirmed.
