Post Malone join Ninja Turtles streaming series

Paramount+ announced additional voice cast members for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Joining the show are Jillian Bell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Timothy Olyphant and Danny Trejo as new characters. Mintz-Plasse, best known as McLovin’ from Superbad, plays Pigeon Pete, a mutant bird. Olyphant, Bell and Trejo play the East River Three, villainous mutant fish, eel and seahorse respectively.

Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon reprise their roles as the four turtles. Ayo Edebiri returns as April O’Neil. A new voice for Splinter, the rat sensei voiced by Jackie Chan in the movie, has not yet been announced. All 12 episodes of Tales premiere on August 9.

Universal teases The Wild Robot featurette

Universal Pictures is teasing the new animated film The Wild Robot with the featurette ‘A Wild Vision,’ offering a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming DreamWorks Animation movie.

Based on the Peter Brown book series, The Wild Robot features Lupita Nyong’o as Rozzum Unit 7134, or ‘Roz,’ a robot shipwrecked on an uninhabited island who learns to adapt and build relationships with the local animals, becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.

The featurette showcases Lupita Nyong’o and the voice cast recording in the studio. Writer and director Chris Sanders emphasises the intimate, emotional aspects of the story, highlighting Roz’s journey of kindness as a survival skill. The Wild Robot opens in theatres on September 27.

Eminem is back with new Death of Slim Shady album

Eminem has released his first new album since 2020, titled The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). The album features 19 tracks, starting with “Renaissance” and ending with “Somebody Save Me”.

“The Death of Slim Shady is a conceptual album, therefore, if you listen to songs out of order they might not make sense,” he shared on social media. Eminem has been teasing the release with trailers for some time now. Reality star Joey Sasso commented on the trailer, praising the album’s concept and Eminem’s lyrical prowess. Eminem previously released the tracks “Tobey” (featuring Big Sean and Baby Tron) and “Houdini” from the album.
