TAXILA: In a crackdown against anti-social elements, police in Taxila and Attock arrested 16 suspects and seized contraband from their possession.
According to a spokesman, Taxila police recovered 1.65 kilogrammes of hashish from Mohammad Bilal, 0.62 kg hashish from Mohammad Bilal, 0.60 kg hashish from Saleem and 20 litres of locally made liquor from Jamal. The police during a raid at a gambling den also arrested nine persons and seized bet money and gambling tools.
