The Israeli military says its air force attacked the Khan Younis municipality building in southern Gaza overnight, claiming it was used by Hamas for “military activity”, Al Jazeera reports.
It said the Shin Bet internal security service told the army the building had an operational shaft connected to an underground tunnel and was being used as a gathering place for Hamas fighters.
