ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is set to host the 31st Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship for boys and girls starting here at the Mushaf Squash Complex on Tuesday.

Speaking a press conference here at a local hotel on Monday, Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) general secretary retired Air Commodore Amir Nawaz along with former world champion Qamar Zaman and Group Captain Irfan Asghar announced that the Asian event was being held in collaboration with the Asian Squash Federation.

The June 25-29 championship will feature players from 12 countries, including Hong Kong, India, Iran, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka and hosts Pakistan.

Players will compete in U-19, U-17, U-15 and U-13 categories at the continental event.
