HARIPUR, March 20: District Nazim Yousaf Ayub on Monday said that the federal education ministry would establish an engineering university in Haripur at a cost of Rs21 billion.
He was speaking at a function arranged by the CIET for the presentation of Social Audit Report 2005 of the district.
On the occasion, the district nazim also praised the CIET’s work in connection with highlighting the district’s problems. He said that the report prepared by CIET would be utilised to solve these problems.
He said that keeping in view the importance of education, the district government was emphasising on the development of the education sector. —APP
