TAXILA: Two persons were killed while a woman was injured in various parts of Attock on Sunday, police sources said.

In the first incident, a man was killed while his wife was shot and injured over a land dispute in Meel village in the limits of Fatehjang police station.

Mohammad Rustam along with Asad and Adeel were allegedly ploughing the land of Khizar Hayat when he and his wife, Tasawar Bibi, came there and stopped them from working on the field. As a result they opened fire on them, killing Khizar on the spot and critically injuring his wife. The injured and dead were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Fatehjang.

Meanwhile a man was shot dead over an old enmity in Dhoke Rehmon in the limits of Hazro police station. Police sources said Waseem Khan, 29, was going to his house when unknown assailants shot him and threw his body at a deserted place. Later his body was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Hazro for autopsy.
