LAHORE: The Punjab government on Tuesday transferred the Lahore commissioner, a provincial secretary and seven deputy commissioners (DCs).

Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa has been directed to report to the establishment division, while Services Secretary Zaid Bin Maqsood has been posted as Lahore commissioner.

According to a notification, Punjab Tourism Department Secretary Jahangir Anwar has been transferred and posted as Environment Protection Department secretary.

Sargodha DC Shoaib Ali has been transferred and replaced by retired Capt Aurangzeb Haider Khan; Bhakkar DC Dr Noor Muhammad Awan has been transferred and replaced by Ali Akbar and Chief of Section Planning and Development Board Saima Ali has been transferred and posted as Sahiwal DC against a vacant post relieving Additional DC Aitzaz Aslam Marth of additional charge of the post.

Jhelum DC Samiullah Farooq has been transferred and replaced by Syedah Ramallah Ali. Layyah DC Khalid Parvaiz has been transferred and replaced by Ameera Baidar, and Mianwali DC Sajjad Ahmad Khan has been transferred and replaced by Khalid Javed Goraya who has been posted as Lahore Development Authority (LDA) director general.

Okara DC Zeeshan Hanif has been transferred and replaced by retired Capt Farrukh Attique Khan, additional secretary (coordination) to chief secretary.
