ISLAMABAD: Senor photographer Sohail Shahzad and Shahid Qureshi have been elected president and secretary respectively of Rawalpindi Islamabad Photo Journalist Associations (RIPJA).

According to a press release, Syed Mehdi has been elected finance secretary after getting 34 votes against his rival Raja Imran, who polled 18 votes in the elections held at the National Press Club on Sunday.

Out of the total 60 members, 53 had cast their votes. This panel also won all seats of executive and governing body. For the post of president, Shoail Shahzad bagged 33 votes while his rival Ahmad Arif Qureshi secured 19 votes. Similarly, Shahid Qureshi polled 29 votes against 20 votes secured by his rival Javed Qureshi for the seat of secretary.
