MARDAN, March 10: Mardan Nazim Himayatullah Mayar has said that the district government will cooperate with non-government organisations in welfare and development work.
He was speaking at a workshop held by the Watan Developmental Organisation and the International Foundation for Election System on Friday.
He praised the organisers for providing an opportunity for elected representatives and donor agencies to get together with officials of various departments and organizations in the three-day training workshop.
VACCINATION: The district nazim inaugurated a three-day anti-polio campaign at the District Council Hall.
The district health officer said more than 379,000 children would be vaccinated during the campaign.
