ISLAMABAD: The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) has decided to restore an old depleting building in Swabi to protect it from land grabbers.
The board also criticised elements spreading rumours about tensions between different communities over the building.
ETPB Secretary Farid Iqbal along a team reached Dargai village in the district of Swabi to assess the ground realities.
The initial report filed by the secretary showed that there was a conflict among some groups to take over the land of the old building originally a Dharamshala (temporary shelter used by the Hindu community). It was neither a temple nor any religious building.
The Dharamshala was established at a small piece of land measuring three and a half marlas. It was located at the centre of the residential area.
