LAHORE: Retired Justice Zia Mehmood Mirza was laid to rest on Tuesday in his ancestral graveyard of Mulhal Mughlan village in Chakwal district.

A large number of people from all walks of life, including LHC Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan, attended his funeral prayers at Upper Mall.

Qul will be held on Thursday after Asr prayers at the Punjab Quran Academy near his residence 162-Scotch Corner, Upper Mall.
