MUZAFFARGARH: The result of 53 polling stations of NA-179 (Kot Addu) was not included in final tally as the returning officer concerned was pressed by lawyers to announce the result, claims PML-N candidate Malik Ghulam Qasim Hinjra.

PTI-backed Mian Shabbir Qureshi was declared winner from this seat with a big margin.

Hinjra said out of 267 polling stations, results of 53 were awaited. He announced to move court.

In Muzaffargarh, known families of Hinjras, Khars and Bukharis were routed.

In NA-180, Malik Raza Khar of PPP lost to PTI-backed Mian Fayyaz Chajra who bagged 96,000 votes. A businessman and contractor, Chajra is least known in local political circles.

He was reportedly in hiding since May 9 violence but had no case against him.

About his election, a local PTI supporter said he had voted in his favour because of party chief Imran Khan. Bukhari s family of Alipur and Jatoi tehsils received four tickets from PML-N but lost all seats. The Hinjra family close to PML-N was also rejected by people.
