Star Trek: Adversaries online collectible card game launches

Star Trek is stepping into the online collectible game arena with Star Trek: Adversaries. The game is the result of a team-up between Puppet Master Games and CBS Interactive and launched in Early Access.

The game draws on Star Trek lore, featuring characters, ships and concepts from Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, and Star Trek: Discovery.

Featuring more than 50 fully-rendered and customisable 3-D starships and 140-plus crew members, 300 ships and crew from the Prime timeline, and 24 collectible flagships, Adversaries’ game modes include multiplayer and AI campaigns, ranked matches and draft play.

There’s no tutorial in place, so newcomers will just have to learn the ropes on their own. It can be downloaded for free on Windows and Mac from the game’s website.

Power Rangers version of Pie Face

Hasbro’s immensely popular Pie Face game is already having a hard time staying on store shelves, and now the game is getting a Power Rangers version. The game’s design echoes the Red Ranger, but the masks that players put their heads feature both the Red and Pink Ranger. It’s unclear if the other three are also included, but the game mechanics don’t seem to change regardless of which one you equip.

Pie Face tasks players with putting their face in a mask that is attached to a launching arm. You load the arm with whip cream and spin the spinner. The number you land on is the number of times you turn the dial, and every time you avoid getting a pie to the face you get a point.
