LAHORE: Mohammad Hasnain beat Aleem Owa­is in the final of the MENU U-17 Junior National Sno­oker Championship here at the Pakistan Sports Board National Coaching and Training Centre on Friday.

Hasnain of Sindh completely dominated Pun­jab’s Aleem while registering a 4-1 (90-7, 17-49, 93-04, 56-13, 47-34) victory.

Hasnain received a cash prize of Rs40,000 while Aleem pocketed Rs20,000.

Earlier in the semi-final, Hasnain edged out Sindh Mohammad Sahil 4-3. (11-62, 3-67, 65-45, 13-79, 63-48, 78-28, 62-20.)

Aleem, in his last-four match, beat Mohammad Anis of Khyber Pakhtun­khwa 4-2 (47-85, 46-35, 61-52, 49-51, 57-42, 47-46).
