DADU: The Additional District Health Officer (ADHO) of Dadu, Dr Zahid Hussain Khuhro, who had gone missing on Thursday afternoon, was recovered by a joint team of police and CIA from a shrine in Larkana.

Dr Khuhro had been unaccounted for soon after he left his home in Civil Hospital Staff Colony three days back and his family had claimed that he had been receiving threats of dire consequences for some days from unknown people. His disappearance had sent a wave of anger among the doctor community and the Pakistan Medical Association on Saturday had enforced a boycott of services at government hospitals in Dadu.

On Sunday, Dadu SSP Shabbir Ahmad Sethar told the media that Dr Khuhro’s whereabouts were found through a locator that caught signals of the internet device he was keeping with him.
