Epic Games teases return of Fortnite OG in 2024

Following the success of Fortnite OG’s brief return, Epic Games plans to bring back the nostalgic mode at some point in 2024. The original map’s revival during Chapter 5 Season 1 garnered a massive player influx, prompting Epic to acknowledge the mode’s popularity.

The 2024 Fortnite roadmap is now adjusted to accommodate the return of Season OG, although specific details remain undisclosed. Fans can anticipate the nostalgic mode’s comeback, likely in the latter half of 2024, as Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 continues until March. Epic’s broader plans for Fortnite post-summer are yet to be revealed.

Minecraft finally getting long overdue feature on Xbox consoles

Minecraft, a beloved open-world sandbox game, recently introduced a preview update (1.20.60.23) on Xbox Series X/S. This long-awaited patch includes 4K resolution support, fulfilling a major request from fans.

While it’s an experimental release, the addition of 4K support signals an imminent upgrade for Xbox Series X/S players. The update also features an armadillo, winner of the Mob Vote at Minecraft Live 2023, and introduces craftable wolf armour using materials obtained from the armadillo. Alongside these additions, the patch addresses various player-requested bug fixes and improvements.
