SARGODHA: A man along with his accomplices shot dead four of his family members and injured one on Thursday over an enmity in Midha Ranjha police precincts.

According to the police report, four people were killed in two villages of Kot Momin tehsil due to a domestic feud. The deceased are Faisal (30), Arfa (25), Maqsuda (60), and Sarfaraz.The suspect identified as Ahmad Sher Haral, who is reportedly addicted to ice, along with his accomplices, first killed two people in the village of Mateela and then killed two more of his family members in the adjoining village of Ghulapur.

Sargodha District Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Kamran, the SP (investigation) Sargodha along with police force rushed to the spot. Teams have been formed to arrest the suspects.

The DPO Sargodha supervised the entire evidence collection process.Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police (IG) Punjab has also taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the RPO. He has directed that all possible steps be taken to protect the life and property of the people of Sargodha.

ARRESTED: Police on Thursday arrested a seminary teacher for rape of his student near Jauharabad Mor on Rawalpindi Road in Khushab.

Police have registered a case against the teacher who confessed to his crime.
