Benazir grieved over Hangu incident

ISLAMABAD, Feb 11: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Benazir Bhutto has condemned the attack on Ashura procession in Hangu and the subsequent riots that left over 40 people dead and scores injured.

In a statement on Saturday, Ms Bhutto said the attack had nothing to do with religion or sectarianism. It was an act of terror perpetrated in the name of religion, she added.
