DERA MURAD JAMALI: Unknown armed men killed a man and his wife and injured their three children after barging into a house in the Gandawah area of Jhal Magsi district on Monday.

Police said assailants entered the house of Abdul Karim Lashari in the Lohi Grah area in the early hours and opened fire on the family, killing him and his wife on the spot, while their three children Farman, Suleman and Lashar Khan were injured.

Police shifted the bodies and injured children to the district hospital. The assailants fled after the shooting and the motive behind the killings is still unknown.

“We are actively investigating the incident,” stated a police officer. He added that the bodies were handed over to the family following the completion of medico-legal procedures.
