First days typically brim with excitement and curiosity, yet they also harbour anxiety and fear. I still remember the first time I had to speak on stage. I was super nervous! These kinds of memories remind us to enjoy happy times, savour every moment and try new things in life.

Life is not a race

This is with reference to the story “Life is not a race” by Ayesha Tahseen (YW, September 2).

It is true that life is not a competition, but a precious gift. It’s easy to get caught up in following trends and striving to outdo others, inadvertently losing touch with our closest friends in the process. Rather than competing, we should cherish the gift of life, work together and support our friends. Remember, life’s true beauty lies in shared moments with friends, where there’s no need for competition.
