KOHAT: On the directives of deputy commissioner Dr Azmatullah Wazir, drug inspector Irfan Wazir on Tuesday sealed two medical stores selling expired medicines and operating without proper licence.

The drug inspector along with his team raided stores in Miangan Colony and sealed one of them for operating without licence.

Similarly, during inspections of stores near the Liaquat Memorial Hospital an outlet giving expired medicaments was sealed.

Cases were registered against the owners under the Drug Act, 1976, and samples were sent to Peshawar for lab test.
