DERA MURAD JAMALI: The station house officer (SHO) of City Police Station in Dera Murad Jamali was critically injured after unidentified bike-riding shooters opened fire on him on the city’s outskirts late on Sunday.
Officials said the attack happened when SHO Habibullah Lashari was on patrol in an industrial area on the outskirts of Dera Murad Jamali town.
Mr Lashari was immediately shifted to the district hospital, officials said, adding that the assailants fled the scene after the shooting. Police launched a search operation after the incident to trace the attackers.
