Caring for all creatures

This is regarding the story “Caring for all creatures” by Alizeh Shoaib (YW, June 3). The writer beautifully conveyed a touching message that enlightened us about the importance of showing compassion towards animals and preserving nature.

It emphasised that our actions have a direct impact on the well-being of animals and the health of our environment. It is our collective responsibility to protect and care for the creatures with whom we share this planet, ensuring a harmonious coexistence for generations to come.

The prayers of my grandmother

This is regarding the story “The prayers of my grandmother” by Noor Bakhsh Saleem (YW, June 10). I found this story to be inspiring and motivating.

The story emphasised the importance of seeking blessings and prayers of our elders, especially our parents and grandparents, as we strive to achieve success in life. It teaches us to stay focused on our goals and not get distracted by minor obstacles that may come our way.

The story “The prayers of my grandmother” by Noor Bakhsh Saleem reminded me of the immense value and wisdom that grandmothers hold. Although my own grandmother is no more, I feel that those who do have a grandparent are incredibly fortunate.

It is crucial to cherish and honour our grandmothers, as their prayers and blessings can have a profound impact on our lives, leading us to success and happiness.

A birthday party

This is in reference to the story “A birthday party” by Tanzeela Ahmed (YW, June 3). The writer beautifully portrayed how the negative behaviour of a person can impact an entire event.

By misbehaving with parents, elders and friends, we not only hurt others, but also subject ourselves to negative consequences. It is important to always exhibit good behaviour, and try to be helpful and a source of happiness to people around us.
