Honour for LHC judge

LAHORE: Justice Jawad Hassan of the LHC has reached London to sit as a shadow judge with a mentor judge at the High Court/King’s Bench (London Commercial Court) in a Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts observation programme.

Justice Hassan was selected by Justice Sir Robin Knowles and Lord Chief Justice of England, Lord Ian Burnett and the Master of Rolls, Sir Geoffrey Vos. He was nominated by the Supreme Court to represent Pakistan and then approved by LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti.

Around the court hearings, the judge will be speaking and meeting with the judiciary, law society and bar councils on events.
