Former prime minister Imran Khan has accused Army Chief Gen Asim Munir of stopping him from returning to power.

“I have no problem with him, but he seems to have a problem with me,” the PTI chief told Al-Jazeera. “I haven’t done anything to antagonise the army chief, but there is something he has against me which I don’t know.”

Imran said that the entire PTI leadership was behind bars and there were a total of 150 cases registered against him. “But the point is, you cannot arrest an idea whose time has come.”
