The PTI has distanced itself from an attack on a Rangers’ check post in Karachi’s Sharea Faisal that took place after the arrest of former premier Imran Khan.
Last week, the police arrested two men for setting the checkpost on fire. Subsequently, the suspects, in a video message, said that they were just following the orders of the PTI leadership.
However, in a video message, PTI Sindh President Aftab Siddiqui has expressed ignorance over the matter and said that the suspects had “no relation” with the party.
“The PTI believes in peaceful protests and has always played its role in the protection of Pakistan and the state property,” he added.
