RAWALPINDI: The two-day first sub Divisional Paralympic games concluded at Shehbaz Sharif Sports Complex in which a total of 85 special athletes participated.

Divisional Sports Officer Waheed Babar distributed the prizes among the special athletes who won positions in all the competitions.

Competitions of Badminton, table tennis, volleyball and archerywere held in the divisional Paralympics.

The divisional Paralympics were organised under the direction of Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaquat Ali Chatha with the support of Sports Department Rawal pindi and Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi.

On this occasion, Divisional Services Officer Waheed Babar said that special athletes in the country have also proved their talents at the international level.

He said that the purpose of organising the Paralympic games at the divisional level is that special people can also get an opportunity to express their sports skills.

He said the atmosphere of excellent competition was maintained in all the games and all the athletes have fully demonstrated their skills.
