LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has issued the last summons against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders Farrukh Habib and Raza Nasraullah Ghumman in corruption cases.

According to a handout, Habib did not appear before the investigating officer. He is accused of accepting huge bribes for contracts for various projects in the Parks and Horticulture Authority, Faisalabad. A huge bribe was also allegedly received in the road contract whose construction could not be completed.

A spokesperson for the ACE said three inquiries were going on in the Faisalabad region against former MNAs Farrukh Habib and Nasraullah Ghumman. Besides bribes received for contracts in PHA Faisalabad, corruption had been detected in petrol pumps on government land and 7.5km long road from Faisalabad Satiana Road to Khanwala Chowk, he alleged and added that disciplinary action would be taken against these two former MNAs.
