LAHORE: Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA) Chairman Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf has announced mills will provide low-price sugar to the public through officially-designated sale points during Ramazan.

PSMA head announced this during a meeting of an association delegation with the caretaker provincial minister for industries and commerce SM Tanveer held here on Sunday at the Civil Secretariat.

“Mills will provide cheap sugar at the sale points decided by the administration. We will decide the discounted price of sugar in a couple of days after mutual consultation,” Mr Ashraf said in the meeting.

“The supply of cheap sugar will start a day before the first of Ramazan,” he added.
