KARACHI, Jan 13: The Jamaat-i-Islami’s leaders have expressed profound grief over the loss of lives in the stampede in Mina, Saudi Arabia, during the Haj’s stoning ritual.

The JI Naib Amir, Prof Ghafoor Ahmed, and JI Karachi Amir Dr Merajul Huda Siddiqui in a statement on Friday prayed for the departed souls.

They stressed the government to issue a list of Pakistani Hujjaj who had been martyred in the incident.—PPI
