TAFTAN: Iranian officials on Monday deported 33 illegal Pakistani immigrants and handed them over to Levies Force officials via Mir Javeh-Taftan border near Chagai district.

According to official sources, 29 people from Punjab, two from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and two from Azad Jammu and Kashmir were among the deportees who were handed over to Levies Force officials at Rahdari Gate at Taftan. Initial interrogation suggested the migrants were illegally staying in different cities of Iran and were trying to reach Turkiye and European countries without legal documents.

However, they were arrested in different cities of Iran, the sources said.

They were later handed over to Federal Investigation Agency for further interrogation.
