NOSHKI: One man was killed and another injured after attackers from a rival tribal group opened fire in Noshki on Friday.

Noshki Station House Officer Muhiddin Pirkani told Dawn that armed men targeted Abdul Baqi and Muhammad Gul on Jinnah Road early in the morning.

He added that Mr Baqi died on the spot while Mr Gul was shifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Mr Pirkani said the attack was a result of enmity between two groups of the Jamaldini tribe.
