ISLAMABAD: Pakis­tan Customs has launched a mobile application to facilitate travellers decl­are cash currency even before coming to airports.

The web-based mobile app named Pass Track was developed to enable passengers to electronically file the declaration, Me­m­ber Customs Operation Mukarram Jah told a news conference on Thursday.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has made it mandatory for every person carrying foreign currency to file a declaration. Pakistan Customs has obta­ined help from Nati­onal Information Tech­­nology Board to develop the app, Mukarram said.
