PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Thursday appointed senior lawyer Amir Javed as advocate general replacing the incumbent Shumail Ahmad Butt.

A notification was issued by the provincial law secretary stating that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor has appointed Amir Javed as advocate general under Article 140 (1) of the Constitution of Pakistan.
