LAHORE: CCPO Additional IG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar on Friday inaugurated a police checkpost at the Journalists Housing Colony, Harbanspura.
On the occasion, the CCPO said the real credit for the establishment of the checkpost goes to Chief Minister Parvez Elahi. He said the media and journalist community had a very important role in eradication of crimes and reforming society.
Mr Dogar said the police post would also help in curbing the land-grabbers mafia and prevention of crimes.
