RAWALPINDI: Several international and domestic flights were delayed, cancelled and redirected to Islamabad on Tuesday due to foggy weather and poor visibility which continued to disrupt flight operations and travel of general public and passengers by roads to and from airports.

According to Pakistan Civil Aviation’s spokesman, the foggy weather and poor visibility in Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad had disrupted local and international flight operations.

The foggy weather has also affected travel by road as the Motorway from Lahore to Layyah has been closed for all kinds of traffic.

The CAA has requested all passengers to check their flights’ status with the airlines before going to airports.
