Judge made officer on special duty

ISLAMABAD: An additional district and sessions judge (ADSJ) of Islamabad has been made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) on Wednesday.

According to the notification of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), ADSJ Mohammad Adnan has been made on OSD with immediate effect.

ADSJ Adnan was working in the Sessions Division West and was recently posted to the Sessions Division East.

The notification stated that “the Hon’ble Chief Justice of this Court has been pleased to make following transfer/posting of judicial officer working in the Islamabad Judicial Service, with immediate effect, till further order, in the public interest.”

As per the notification, ADSJ Adnan was posted as “officer on special duty (BS-20), Islamabad High Court, Islamabad, against newly created post.”

The notification asked that “the judicial officer shall join his new assignment forthwith.”
