LAHORE: Three mat­ches were decided in the Coca-Cola Aibak Polo Cup at the Lahore Polo Club ground on Wednesday.

Hamza Mawaz Khan four-goal and team-mate Ahmed Zubair Butt hat-trick helped Remington Pharma edge Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel 7½-7 as the winner started with half goal on handicap. Nicolas Antinori scored five goals for the losing side

In the second match, Remo­unts crushed Guard Rice 11-3½. Raja Temur Nadeem and Sawar Muhammad Naeem scored five goals apiece to ensure the rout.

The last match of the day was a close contest as Newage Cables/Master Paints beat FG/Din Polo 7-6. Juan Cruz Greguol slammed in a double hat-trick while Alman Jalil Azam converted the remaining one goal. Tomas Marin Moreno scored all the six for the losing side.
